South Bay Town Center
Ground has already been broken on this massive new development and it’s scheduled to be opened in the summer of 2018. This massive 700,000 foot expansion to the South Bay Shopping Center will feature 475 new units, a hotel, IMAX theater, retail space, and open spaces for farmers markets and festivals.
Flats on Savin
If you’ve dreamed of living feet from your local T stop, the new build Flats on Savin might just be for you. This development features 14 high end units on the top two floors and a 2,500 square foot commercial space on the first floor. Flats on Savin is slated to be completed in the summer of 2017.
Another Dorchester apartment development that is scheduled to be finished this summer is the Treadmark. Standing at 6 stories and over 100,000 square feet, it contains 83 units and will feature a community roof deck. On the ground floor there will be retail space and the development also will have parking as well.
The new Dot Block development is scheduled to break ground this summer and is one of the most anticipated new builds in Dorchester. The Dot Block is projected to have 10 buildings, over 350 apartment units, plus retail space. No doubt, when this opens it will be one of the most popular units in the neighborhood.
